Because they know you’ve been wondering, the opinionated folks at the Village Voice want you know that the best Uzbeki-Korean food in town is served at Elza Fancy Food — f.k.a. Cafe at Your Mother-in-Law. Best (only?) Catskillian? Kutsher’s Tribeca, of course. Lulu & Po gets a prestigious “Best Anchovy Use” nod for their deep-fried starter, and (fightin’ words) Pete Zaaz is anointed best pizzeria. Momofuku’s the best ramen. This should tide you over till our own annual “Best of New York” drops in the new year. [VV]
