We hadn’t heard much about Arami GO!, the fast casual spinoff from Ukrainian Village’s acclaimed Arami, for a bit, but the sign is up on the first location at 203 E. Ohio, and they hope to open by the end of the month. And we’ve got our first look at the menu, which will be under the supervision of Chef Shin Matsuda, a veteran of, surprise, Arami, as well as Slurping Turtle. The menu focuses on bento boxes offering a choice of white, brown or sushi rice, various proteins from tofu to chicken to salmon and spicy tuna, vegetables, and housemade pickled items and salads, along with nori sheets if you want to roll it into your own maki. There will also be a house ramen as well as bowls of miso soup. The interior will be similar to Arami, using reclaimed wood from the Chicago Park District. Arami GO! will have 16 seats inside and be open from 11 to 7 p.m. daily. Check out the menu below.
