The B.R. Guest restaurant group’s kitsch-free and stately ode to New York chop culture has closed on Park Avenue South, posting a short farewell message on its website. The restaurant group also closed Kibo, an upscale Japanese grill in the same neighborhood where Joël Robuchon was a consultant, in late May. There has been no official word yet on what will replace the restaurant or if Hanson’s group will continue to operate the space, but the move makes sense given the team’s commitment to expanding Strip House.
