Listen up pork proponents: This weekend presents several opportunities for you to dig the pig in all its parts. The first is the kickoff to Frankford Hall’s 16-day Oktoberfest beer and food odyssey, which happens back to-back on Saturday and Sunday. Both days will have whole roasted oinkers served up from noon to 3 p.m. The other is a pig roast at Paramour in Wayne on Sunday that’s meant to serve as closing to the summer season. That pig will be cooked on site Cuban style, rubbed with adobo and fresh citrus juices, and roasted in a box. In addition to whole hogs, the feast includes a buffet. Reservations are recommended for that one.
