This town is hurting for more Greek food, and now there’s a new option: Orexi. It just opened in a former Round Table Pizza at 243 West Portal Avenue. They’re doing lamb chops, good-looking salads, and various mezze, but the menu’s still being tweaked and was taken offline — they just opened on Tuesday night. As the Scoop reports, the restaurant is the culmination of longtime neighborhood residents John and Effie Loufas, who previously owned a market and the Royale bar in North Beach. [Scoop]
