Continuing a week of press conferences with unctuous womanizers, Wolfgang Puck joined L.A. overlord and DNC overuler Antonio Villaraigosa yesterday for the unveiling of his reworked Wolfgang Puck Express in LAX’s Terminal 7. Masaharu Morimoto was also on the scene to open Skewers, his fast-casual yakitori stand offering grilled beef, chicken, and seafood sticks to Terminal 5’s captive audience.

The news, part of Delaware North’s ballyhooed upgrade of airport eating, is encouraging for any frequent flyer sick of Cinnabon, though it hardly placates those locals not opposed to seeing Morimoto set up shop in L.A., which the chef considered in West Hollywood before drawing heat from entrenched Hyatt protestors.

Anyway, if you’re dallying with Delta anytime soon, your newest dining option includes chicken, beef, pork, shrimp, and vegetables offered as kushiyaki and curried kushiyaki skewers, plus the same selection deep-fried and panko-crusted served as kushiage and curried kushiage, all hovering between $10-15, as well as combos, salads with the same skewers, and sides like miso soup, muffins, mochi, and Pocki.
