A couple of celeb chefs will be gracing diners with a co-cheffed menu on Friday to kick off the annual Tomato Festival at the Kendall-Jackson Wine Center in Santa Rosa. Familiar faces Mario Batali and Guy Fieri will join forces to cook a tomato-inspired dinner for one table worth of VIPs, and the as-yet-undisclosed menu will come with a hefty price tag: $3,000 per person. Twenty-one other chefs from the area including Cyrus’s Douglas Keane, and Etoile’s Perry Hoffman will cook for other tables at the event, and those tickets are a mere $350 per person. The dinner benefits the Cooking with Kids Foundation, and Fieri says of his pal Batali, “Mario is the real deal, and I am so honored he is coming to Nor Cal to support [this charity].” Reserve here.
