Starting Friday evening, Long Beach is bringing its Lobster Fest back for the sixteenth straight year, finding the world’s largest pressure cooker helping to cook what organizers claim is the largest lobster festival outside of Maine. Lobsters are supposedly shipped in nightly from the Northeast, offered whole and on lobster rolls in a feast sold separately from the thirteen-dollar ticket price. Beer, wine, live music, and a whole lot of drunk people dressed in lobster costumers round out the day. This Friday through Sunday, with tickets online.
