“We’re not going to have truffles for all of you,” admits Lil’ Frankie’s and Sauce owner Frank Prisinzano, “but we’ll have truffles for some of you.” White truffle season is rolling in, and the restaurateur really has his sights set on a tuber-hunting rollick through Northern Italy and even plans to make a little show about it. “This year I want you guys to come with me to get some white truffles,” he says in this crowd-funding appeal video (via Fork in the Road). “We’ll smuggle them back, we get to eat them in all my restaurants, you get to experience the whole thing.” Check out the video below.
