
This past January, we told you of the news of Frank Morgan’s passing. He was the owner-operator of Marengo, Illinois’ Q7 Ranch, a ranch that deals in naturally raised meat, and was integral to the success of many of Chicago’s farm-to-table restaurants and butcher shops. Many wondered about the state of their future natural meat supply, and wondered what would happen to the ranch. Dave Rand, a former GCM forager and now over sales for Q7 Ranch, and Morgan’s widow, were adamant about continuing Frank’s legacy, and two Northwestern journalism grads, Gloria Oh and Jim Dallke, capture their attempts in the video below.
