If the trailer for Dosa Hunt, the short film by Stereogum’s Amrit Singh, featuring south Asian members of Das Racist, Yeasayer, Neon Indian, and Vampire Weekend, made you hungry, it’s time for a premiere party. The film debuts next week (October 5 and 6) at Nitehawk Cinema with midnight dosas, samosas, and other grub from Anjappar in Curry Hill, and a 12:30 screening followed by a Q&A; and after-soiree (music-biz types roll late). Fifteen bucks get you food, film, and free Kingfisher beer at the after-party; there’s also a matinee on October 8. Tickets on Nitehawk’s website.
