In a lonely part of West Town, at the intersection of Grand and Ogden, there sits a gas station-cum-car detailing spot. Or, wait a minute…that’s not a gas station at all. It’s…a restaurant? Yes, Clutch Bar is a restaurant and bar that pays homage to its automobile affiliated roots. Garage doors open to expose the 55 seat (and dog friendly) patio, and an old school gas pump dispenses… what else? Beer. Though they’ve been known as a dinner spot for the three years that they’ve been open, they recently made their foray into the ever-popular lunch and brunch dayparts.
