The Combined Jewish Philanthropies Fast to Feed program helps families in need year-round. A spike in demand is usually seen around the Jewish holidays. To help out, three Brookline restaurants will donate a portion of your next bill to the fund.
Until September 26, eat at the Coolidge Corner Clubhouse, the Fireplace, or Zaftigs, and they’ll donate between 10 to 15 percent of the proceeds to Fast to Feed. Remember to mention Fast to Feed before the bill comes. According to CJP research, one out of every ten local families is food insecure and might not know where their next meal is coming from.
