Broadway’s record-busting musical Book of Mormon is coming to The Pantages Theater in Hollywood next week and Wood & Vine, located right across the street, is getting in on the funny. The restaurant is offering a pun-packed, pre-show prix-fixe for $25 every night of the show’s run, from 5:30 to 7:00 P.M. through November 5. The menu includes dishes like a cheese and charcuterie plate called “We’d Like to Talk to You About Cheeses,” plus a “Holy Trinity” of dishes like fried chicken and waffles and cream puffs.
Sadly, no magic underwear jokes to be found, but there are additional drinks like “Respect Your Elder-flower” and “Latter Day Night Fever,” which drop from $12 to $8, if you show a ticket stub to the show. Of course, most of us probably score seats to the play’s much-in-demand two-month L.A. run. So for everyone, else, here’s Wood & Vine’s full menu below, just for Mitts and giggles.
