Taylor Swift and her beau, Conor Kennedy, allegedly crashed the wedding of his cousin Kyle Kennedy at the Fairmont Copley Plaza. Kyle is the daughter of the late Michael Kennedy (he died in a skiing accident and was plagued by rumors that he had an affair with his teen babysitter) and Vicki Gifford Kennedy, daughter of Frank Gifford and stepdaughter of Kathie Lee Gifford, who we’re sure was holding court with a large goblet of white wine, a la Today. Conor’s the son of Mary Kennedy, who recently committed suicide. The Herald reports that the Kennedys are none too happy with the couple’s surprise appearance.
“They texted me an hour before the wedding and asked if they could come,” Vicki Kennedy told the paper. “I responded with a very clear, ‘Please do not come.’ They came anyway. … I personally went up to Ms. Swift, whose entrance distracted the entire event, politely introduced myself to her, and asked her as nicely as I could to leave. It was like talking to a ghost. She seemed to look right past me.”
Swift and Kennedy ultimately fled during dinner, and a paparazzi gridlock then ensued … so they peaced out to the North End, which is definitely far more low-profile.
