Following Saturday’s troubling report of a shooting at a Lincoln Heights taco stand that left two wounded, comes news of a shooting early this morning at Lucy’s #1 Mexican restaurant, just southwest of Pico-Union. Shortly after 1:00 A.M., three women were struck by gunfire at the Washington Blvd. restaurant (not to be confused with Lucy’s Drive-In at the Pico and Union intersection), with all three fortunately expected to survive. And here we we worried chorizo and suadero were the biggest threats to public health when it comes taco-time. [Press Telegram]
