This weekend marks the fourth annual amateur pie-baking battle at Omnivore Books. The fun happens on August 11 at 3 p.m., and pie tasters are welcome too, for an entry fee of $5 — pie battlers enter for free and split the door take with owner Celia Sack. [SFoodie]
