
New brewery news is always happy news for the city’s food and drink-writing population, and the push by Oskar Blues, a Colorado-based brewery with the same kind of cult rep as local faves Three Floyds and New Glarus, has been greeted with a good deal of coverage, to which we now come late… since we missed publicizing last night’s events at Fountainhead, Hopleaf, The Publican and Old Town Pour House. But there’s still time to attend the opening week festivities, which include a special dinner at SmallBar Division tonight and the chance to taste many of Oskar Blues’ interesting varieties… all canned, not bottled.
