NYC’s First Kombucha Bar Opened Today; Win an Excursion to Millbrook Winery

Dig Inn Seasonal Market and Kombucha Brooklyn launched the city’s first ‘Buch Bar today. The local Kombucha brewers will be serving up four flavors at Dig Inn’s Union Square location. And if Kombucha’s not your thing, you can check out the selection of cold-pressed raw juices, shakes, and smoothies. [Grub Street]

Fort Reno BBQ in Park Slope has outdoor seating. Enjoy barbecue at one of their giant picnic tables until the end of the summer, which Fort Reno will be celebrating with an “End of Summer Jam” on Sunday, September 23. • Find out more than you ever wanted to know about that bespectacled man on your bucket of fried chicken at the Colonel Harland Sanders Café and Museum in Corbin, Kentucky. After eating at Colonel Sanders’s original café, you can visit the adjoining museum that features, among other things, the Colonel’s first pressure cooker and a 100-pound barrel containing the the eleven mystery herbs and spices that gave Kentucky Fried Chicken its distinctive flavor.
