Speaking of XO sauce and all other magical condiments, Tasting Table NY takes a peek inside the New York apartment of Mission Chinese Food chef Danny Bowien and his wife Youngmi Mayer, and specifically, in their fridge and pantry. Bowien, in case you didn’t know, has (temporarily?) relocated from San Francisco and quickly become the darling of the New York food scene after the opening of Mission Chinese Food’s second location, on Manhattan’s Lower East Side, in May. A couple of his favorite bits of flavor ammo: Three Crabs fish sauce, and Jamaican Pickapeppa sauce. [TT NY]
