Martin Yan’s big, noodle-focused, Chinese restaurant-in-a-mall, M.Y. China, is set to open by late October on the fourth floor of the Westfield. But today we get word via the Scoop that they’ve just announced that “world champion noodle puller” Tony Wu will be the executive chef. Wu, who’s quite the showman, has already appeared at multiple events with Yan, and he’s a 30-year restaurant vet with his most recent experience coming from Canada and Harvest Moon restaurant outside Tucson, Arizona. Below, watch him do the noodle-pulling show in that restaurant, as he and others will be doing for dining audiences soon at M.Y. China.
