This weekend there’s a private preview event at Lolinda (2518 Mission Street), the new “Argentinian-inspired” restaurant from local empire builder Adriano Paganini (Beretta, Delarosa, Starbelly, Super Duper). And as of next week, if all goes well with inspections, the 350-seat Medjool replacement should swing open its doors, as the Scoop reports — but the roof deck won’t be open again for several months, which is bad news for those hoping to lounge up there when our actual summer hits next month. The menu will be centered on Argentinian-style steaks on the wood-fired grill, as well as empanadas, ceviches, and skewers. And the bar manager is Lane Ford, who most recently did stints at Bar Agricole and Death & Co. in New York. Stay tuned for more menu details, and photos. [Scoop, Earlier]
