At long last we finally learn what will fill the hole on East Girard that Hot Potato Cafe left gaping back in 2010 after it received the kiss of death from Gordon Ramsay. It’s going to be a whiskey-heavy, but not a “whiskey bar” joint named Lloyd. And according to what the Insider’s reporting, it won’t be a “hoity-toity” affair. The Lloyd it takes its name from is former Penn Treaty Middle School teacher Lloyd Coudriet. His son, and daughter-in-law, Scott and Taylor, who both spent time working at New York’s Whiskey Ward, are on board to get it up and running, which is supposed to happen sometime in October.
