The application period has closed for the exec pastry chef position at the Sofitel: Eater says the spot — formerly helmed by affable chef with The French Laundry and Blackbird pedigree (not to mention a Beard nom), Patrick Fahy — is now under the direction of Leigh Omilinsky, Fahy’s former protege.
