On Monday, we noted that the owner of Hollywood’s Chick-fil-A was trying to distance himself from the chain’s raging controversy over marriage equality. Not going to happen! Today, LAPD was called to the location at 6:20 A.M. this morning during the pre-game of a planned “National Same Sex Kiss Day.” Not because of chapped lips or excessive PDA, mind you, but because the menacing media swarmed the place, making it difficult for the restaurant to raise money for The Family Research Council operate. The press of reporters apparently abated before police had to start cracking any heads. [THR]
