Of course, maybe we shouldn’t be so surprised, seeing as Goin’s “Sunday Suppers” institution has already helped breed several events of the exact same name at places like Mercato di Vetro, Bouchon, and the now defunct Potato Chips. And of course, there’s “Sunday Suppers” at Dominick’s, which is so old it may even have claims to the term. But of course, it’s not only Lucques feeling the big bite, as The Foundry just launched its own “Flights and Bites,” which A.O.C. has being doing for about a decade.
