What to Eat at Galli, Bringing Old-School and New-School Italian to Soho
Photo: Melissa Hom
Tomorrow night, Soho gets another dose of super-classic Italian (Baked clams? Check. Rice balls with peas? Check) when Galli opens in Soho. The new one from restaurateur Steve Gallo (Brio Downtown) even has a whole section of the menu dedicated to “Parm.” However, there’s new-school stuff, too, like a whole-wheat pasta with beans and escarole that looks like a salad met some noodles. See all that and the exposed-brick interiors straight ahead in our slideshow.
