Tomorrow marks a year since Michael Voltaggio opened his original take on the sandwich shop, ink.sack, in a surprise move for fans sweating the debut of his full-service restaurant, ink. Voltaggio is celebrating the anniversary tomorrow by offering the spot’s most popular sandwich, the cold fried chicken sandwich, as a twofer. For every order made, guests will get one chicken sandwich completely free through Thursday. As far as we know, the sandwich is one of the few without political implications around here these days, so you can either enjoy the free extra sandwich without guilt or use it to tempt someone out of line at Chick-fil-A.
