Mid-City’s Paper or Plastik Cafe celebrates the start of its terrible twos today by giving away free cups of mud made from its new coffee label, PorP, featuring single-origin and micro-lot beans roasted weekly by the staff in small batches. The giveaway starts at noon and lasts for two hours, offered to anyone who uses the word “anniversary” at its register. Next Friday night, September 7**, the cafe will extend these anniversary shenanigans with an open house into its space and attached studio, with free food samples and drinks starting at 8:00 P.M. 5772 W. Pico Blvd. Mid-City.
