Apparently Boston really doesn’t need one more Irish pub. Downtown’s Four Green Fields has shuttered after a little more than a year in business. It had been in a downhill slide for awhile, based on the enraged reviews of disgruntled Yelpers.
“This place is pretty underwhelming for what it probably could be, yet another Irish bar in the Downtown/Faneuil Hall area of Boston. Your standard Irish/tourist trap bar has at least some colorful story or legacy attached to it. This spot has, given that it is still pretty much a new bar, a bathroom, some tv’s, beer and tables. Riveting.”
“Awful. Where to begin?”
And finally: “This place is closed now…deservedly so.”
RIP.
