After the original Fatty ‘Cue in Williamsburg closed mysteriously early this year (building “structural issues” were cited), we’d despaired that it would ever reopen at all. Yet here comes the news that the elder ‘Cue sibling should rise from the ashes this fall — hopefully by mid-October, a rep tells us. Menu favorites (Pullman toast with master fat, mmm) will reappear, along with some of the new dishes from Fatty ‘Cue West Village. The lineup should also feature more seafood of the raw (shellfish, caviar) and roasted (sardines, trout, shellfish) varieties, which ought to be a hit with the pescatarian set. The space sounds like it will be more or less the same, with an eat-at front bar, 28-seat back dining room, and eighteen outdoor seats.
