Sad! Union Square’s newest BBQ spot lasted about as long as Kim Kardashian’s marriage. Eater Boston has it that the Pig, conveniently located next to veggie-haven Dosa Temple, has shuttered for good due to smokehouse woes.
“Barbeque + dense urban residential neighborhoods = conflict,” a Chowhound poster posits. Thankfully, this hasn’t posed a problem for Redbones or Blue Ribbon.
Bad news for carnivores being dragged to Dosa Temple and hoping to sneak off for meat, however. [EB]
