
It’s not one of the year’s high profile restaurants, and it’s in a space (1132 W. Grand) whose recent history (The Black Sheep) is not entirely auspicious. But Two looks like the kind of relaxed upscale spot that might be around a while. It’s the second restaurant from the team behind Hinsdale’s Zak’s Place, which consists of chef Yamandu Perez, a veteran of Gabriel’s in Highwood, and Matt Van Valkenburgh, and it calls itself “a Midwest farm and butcher shop-inspired neighborhood bistro,” with a beverage side including midwestern craft beers and wine from around the world.
