Techie Creperie Opens in Midtown; Dollar Empanadas at Havana Central

•The Snug Harbor Cultural Center’s two-acre Heritage Farm will set up a farm stand July 24 open every Tuesday in the summer and fall from 2 to 6 p.m. The stand will offer organic fruits and veggies, flowers, and herbs, and will open around Thanksgiving and Christmas, too. [DNAinfo]

Five Leaves adds some summery touches to its menu with burrata-stuffed zucchini flowers; a crunchy vegetable salad with jicama, watermelon, and chevre; steamed lemon pudding with gingered blueberries; and the marinated steak right off the secret menu served with truffle fries. [Grub Street]

•The bigger, better Kings County Distillery is now open for tours every Saturday from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. for $8 — including a whiskey tasting and admission to the Boozeum (an exhibit of the city’s distilling history). [Grub Street]

• Starting July 19, unlimited caviar and Champagne (or vodka) is within reach (for $100 per person) on the third-floor terrace at Russian restaurant FireBird. Every Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m., pick caviars from the menu with all the extras (blinis, red onion, egg white and yolk, and crème fraîche). How very haute. [Grub Street]

• Harpoon’s new brew, the (limited) Saison Liaison, is on sale exclusively on draft at Whole Foods in the city; they’re offering growler fills until it’s gone. ‘Tis the saison. [Grub Street]

Bread Tribeca is opening another location on Hudson Street. [Zagat]

• From its logo, a new creperie at 1410 Broadway looks like a techie eatery. Apparently, there are iPads set up on desks for ordering, and window adverts suggest mango samosas and a hot-dog crepe (?!). [Midtown Lunch]

• Starting July 16, hate Mondays no more — Cadaqués’s new paella for two gives you a choice of four paellas to share (if you must), plus a porron of vino (that’s Spanish for wine pitcher), all for $40. [Grub Street]

• Dollar empanadas are back at Havana Central locations. And new to the cart? Handmade dessert empanadas — pineapple, coconut, and guava-and-cheese. The old savorites are back, too — beef picadillo, chicken sofrito, cubano, three-cheese, spinach-and-goat-cheese. Get ‘em July 18 to August 31 on Wednesdays at the UWS location. Times Square and Yonkers have them Tuesdays. [Grub Street]

•This weekend, grab a roast pork taco at the Highliner, served in a hard corn tortilla with cabbage and salsa verde. [Grub Street]
