Judging from the scrum that’s descended on Rose Avenue in the wake of Superba Snack Bar’s opening, it appears that investing in the right Venice restaurant is a very smart move to make. In an interview with Food GPS, Mike Simms, co-owner of Simmzy’s, M.B. Post, Lazy Dog Cafe, and Tin Roof Bistro announces that he’s bringing a new Simmzy’s to Venice and another to Hermosa Beach. The exact addresses for locations number three and four of this beer and burger hotspot are yet to be disclosed, though Simms does say a lease has been signed for Venice while another is pending for Hermosa. Simms also says he’d do another restaurant with M.B. Post David LeFevre anytime the chef wants to, explaining that LeFevre has “outperformed every goal that we set, every benchmark…he’s exceeded with his team. If he wants to do another restaurant, we’ll support him 100%.”
