Such is the way of openings: Dates are always moving targets. Though it seemed like it would be open by this weekend, the word from Evan and Sarah Rich at Hayes Valley’s new restaurant Rich Table is that the “official” date of July 26, when you can start making reservations, is now the real opening date, and inklings of a soft opening prior to that are unfounded. Passersby may still see some activity in the space as pre-opening events occur, but as far as we know the public isn’t invited until next Thursday. [Earlier slideshow]
