Sun worshipers hoping to ogle bikinis this holiday got a glimpse of something else, with a pro-soda-rights banner that read “NO DRINK 4 U” looming over New York’s most popular beaches. This PR stunt by New Yorkers for Beverage Choices (i.e. “Sip This, Bloomberg”) was just one of many Sprite-ly tactics. Moviegoers also got a taste of the resistance with “ushers, ticket-takers and concession workers” wearing shirts that read, “I picked out my beverage all by myself.” [NYT]
