What Laurent Quenioux Will Cook at Barney Greengrass Next Week

Pop-up addict Lauren Quenioux sends word that he’s cooking at Barney Greengrass for three nights next week. On July 8, 9, and 10, Quenioux plans a $50 prix fixe menu with suitably eccentric dishes like compressed watermelon with geoduck, fish sauce, and chilled chowder, rabbit tartare with chocolate muffin, and skate with veal feet. Better yet, the chef will bring back his much fawned-over cheese cart as a supplement, along with wine tastings from Domaine LA’s Jill Bernheimer. July 8 is already sold-out, the chef notes, but seatings for the other two nights are now open from 6:00 to 9:00 at 310-777-5877. Tell ‘em Barney Greengrass-kin Ron Jeremy sent you.
