To celebrate its third year at L.A. Live, Katsuya launched a $33 prix-fixe menu yesterday that will be available at the restaurant through August 12. Designed by chef-owner Katusya Uechi, the menu eschews his signature crispy rice with spicy tuna for clam consomme with chili oil and micro cilantro, a braised Kurobuta pork belly with poached quail egg, green onion, and spicy mustard sauce, and ends with a green tea panna cotta. The menu is available only at the Downtown location, which means we really can’t guarantee a Kim Kardashian sighting. Yeah, so sorry everybody. But there’s still this.
