Tonight’s monthly installment of Industry Night at Amis puts the spotlight on The Industry, the recently opened bar and restaurant in Pennsport from Good Dog’s Dave Garry and Heather Gleason. The still new spot’s chef, Pat Szoke, is a Vetri alum, so the evening is somewhat of a homecoming. And he’s bringing crispy pig ear lettuce wraps, General Tso’s chicken wings, and his signature Industry burger for the party. For his part, Amis’ chef, Brad Spence, will serve corn on the cob alla “elote,” spicy ginger and scallion spaghetti, Italian BBQ pork with samurai slaw, and an assortment of ice cream cones with sprinkles. As always, the food’s free, the drinks are cheap, and a recent paycheck stub from a restaurant gets you entry. The fun gets underway at 10 p.m.
