In what’s possibly just a marketing gimmick for web service TaskRabbit, a new site has cropped up called Burgerto.me which promises to deliver you anything from In-N-Out for a mere ten-dollar delivery fee, but only within San Francisco city limits. The site is powered by TaskRabbit, which provides odd-job-doers for those in need of such odd-job-doing, and as SFist reports, a recently ordered burger arrived in about 50 minutes, cheerfully delivered by a woman named Tory. As for temperature, the Double-Double arrived “Not cold yet, but calling it ‘warm’ seemed like it would be a little too generous.” The milkshake, however, had melted to “an ideal temperature” for slurping. In related news, the rest of California is way more jealous of S.F. today than before, and Uber may still be experimenting with that on-demand ice cream truck business, but we’re not sure when.
