Ted Mann’s gigantic Greenwood Heights beer garden, Greenwood Park, has been realizing neighbors’ worst fears since it opened last month, writes Brooklyn Paper. On weekends, when the all-day drinkers show up for bocce and boozing, scandalized locals report that the noisy streets smell like “a mix of pee, cigarettes, and throw-up,” and that people are making out in doorways and engaging in car sex, “especially on a secluded stretch of 19th Street near Eighth Avenue.” The dead at nearby Greenwood Cemetery are no doubt rolling over — but not so living residents, who are demanding Mann install Porta-Potties. Because that wouldn’t stink up the neighborhood. [Brooklyn Paper]
