George Rosenthal, the real estate, hospitality, and Hollywood heavyweight that started The Rosenthal Estate wine label, is selling his 235-acre Malibu property for $59.5 million, which includes 25 acres of vineyards, a seven room mansion, and tasting room. As to the future of the Rosenthal Estates label, the winery’s director of sales and marketing, Neil McNally, tells The Hollywood Reporter, “We still plan on making wines…We hope to still get the grapes off the estate—we don’t make the wine there anyway.” Sounds good. Now can someone please divert The Edge’s attention over here? [WSJ]
