If you were holding out for Jose Garces to change his mind about nixing plans for Frohmans Wursthaus, or perhaps coming up with an alternative for the 13th Street space that was going to house it, all your hopes were in a vain. The Iron Chef recently unloaded the property, and after two years in limbo with the brats and beers concept, appears to be moving on. Naked Philly reports that a local investment firm bought the building from Garces, and is actively marketing the vacant property as a restaurant ready to take shape. With the recent arrival of Fish, Spiga, Green Eggs and more to the neighborhood, the opportunity seems ripe, and probably won’t last for very long. [Naked Philly]
