Supper Rolls Out a Tuesday Fried Chicken Special and New Summer Menus

Last year when Mitch Prensky introduced his pastrami-fried chicken at Supper, he insisted that no matter how well the spicy, crispy-fried bird went over, he had no intention of “opening a KFC.” Though the chicken has since been named the country’s best by Food & Wine, and Prensky’s now in the throes of launching his pop-up venture, Scratch Biscuits, he’s mostly kept his word, offering the dish only during happy hours. But now he’s about to make it a little more accessible with a new weekly deal. Beginning tomorrow, and running every Tuesday after that, Prensky and company will serve fried chicken platters for two as a $25 special. It includes half a bird, two rotating side dishes that will feature produce from Prensky’s Blue Elephant Farm, and two flour biscuits.

With the new chicken special, Supper is also forking over a revamped menu for the summer season. Some highlights include tamale fries, backyard crudites, barbecue Hampshire pork loin, and a daily preparation of barley risotto and Blue Elephant Farm veggies. Keep reading to peep the full menus.
