Black cats, broken mirrors and all the other trappings of superstitious minds are no match for the assortment of cask conditioned ales that will bring fearless beer nerds out to Grey Lodge Pub for its third and final Friday the Firkinteenth for 2012. The next one won’t take place until September 2013. For today’s firkin fest, the Pub’s peeps have secured an impressive lineup (more than 20 barrels) of naturally carbonated beers from breweries near and far. This time around it seems as if there’s a surplus of hoppy brews going on. Among them are Dock Street’s dry hopped West of Center Ale, Flying Fish Hopfish dry hopped with Simcoe, Sixpoint Spice of Life hopped with Amarillo, and a double IPA from Victory with Citra and Simcoe hops. Beers get tapped at noon. Keep reading to check out the entire lineup.
