There are plenty of delicious ways to celebrate July 4th in Boston if the standard picnic and fireworks aren’t cutting it this year. Here’s our quick guide to eat, drink and be merry during this year’s holiday:

Moksa and OM are throwing a pig and goat roast all day tomorrow. For one flat price you get unlimited meat and free flowing beer at both restaurant locations in Cambridge. It’s the backyard barbecue you always dreamed of without all the prep work. [Thrillist]

If pig and goat aren’t satisfying you, the Liberty Hotel is throwing “Red, White & Ewe,” an event dedicated to a patriotic love of lamb. The menu features three kinds of lamb kebabs and sliders by chef Margate. [Facebook]

If you’re down by the Charles to see the fireworks, food trucks may just be your thing. The Chicken and Rice truck will be parked on the Cambridge side of the Charles River in front of the MIT Libraries, while Frozen Hoagies will be on the Cambridge side as well on Memorial Drive. Perhaps you’re just looking for a good beer to celebrate Independence Day. The Boston Globe blog 99 Bottles recommends four beers, three of which are local, just for the holiday. [Boston Globe]

Enjoy the holiday!
