The L.A. County Fair returns at the end of August and with it, as always, comes the introduction of a few new battered items of junk food by deep-fried aficionado Chicken Charlie. This year, Charlie asked Facebook fans to come up with his next monstrosity, as it certainly must be a challenge designing depraved snacks like deep-fried Kool-Aid and fried Klondike bars. NBC reports that the winner, which will be joining new creations like deep-fried cereal and deep-fried peanut butter and jelly sandwiches this year, is deep-fried cookie dough, which actually sort of sounds worth exchanging for a day or two of our old, wobbly years for a single bite.
