
Since officially taking the helm at the Cow Hollow restaurant he’s a partner in, Café Des Amis, last summer, chef Mark Sullivan has been steadily changing the menu, keeping a few French bistro classics in rotation while adding some more seasonal and lighter dishes to the mix. This month they’re launching an all-day menu that carries through between lunch and dinner, and features menu staples like the burger and onion soup, as well as a few newer items, like a carrot soup with Marcona almonds.
The dinner menu, meanwhile, has a selection of plats du jour, as well as a more extensive collection of appetizers and small plates. Note that every Tuesday they offer all bottles of wine at half price.
First off, the new afternoon menu, available post-lunch/brunch at 3 p.m. The restaurant is open daily from 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m., and 10 a.m. on weekends for brunch.
