San Diego-born Burger Lounge, which sprung its eco-concious constructions and grass-fed beef and quinoa burgers with organic ketchup on Sunset Boulevard this past December, will double down on Los Angeles next week, with the opening of a new 900-square-foot location in Beverly Hills on Wednesday, July 25. Coming to Beverly Drive and Gregory Way, this will be the chain’s eighth outlet since partners J. Dean Loring and Michael Gilligan first founded Burger Lounge in 2007, a move that earned them a “best burger” nod from San Diego Magazine for three years straight.
To celebrate the opening, the restaurant plans to donate proceeds from the sale of a different burger daily to local student-run CSA and school gardening programs. This new Burger Lounge has eighteen seats on the inside and fourteen on an outdoor patio (keeping the cool side “cool” and the hot side “hot,” we presume), with an open kitchen and eventually, the introduction of draft beers and wine once it gets its papers in order. Check out the menu right here.
Burger Lounge, open at 10:30 A.M., July 25, at 281 S. Beverly Dr. Beverly Hills.310- 385-0898.
